The Bayliner 3818 Flybridge Motoryacht is one of the most popular sedans ever built, as over 1000 of them have been produced. They are recognized as an ideal, comfortable family cruiser with their two head, two-stateroom layout…all offered at a very attractive price. A popular motor yacht, Bayliner mixed the correct blend of comfort and style. Built on a low-deadrise modified V-hull, the key feature is the innovative mid-cabin floor plan with a double berth that extends under the salon sole. A lower helm is standard along the starboard salon, and there is a huge master stateroom forward. The master stateroom has a center island queen bed, a private head and loads of storage. There is a mid-ship guest stateroom with full height headroom and private access to the second head. A very large tub with shower is shared. The galley is very bright and roomy, and is extremely well equipped. The salon area is filled with windows all around giving a great view. The huge dinette and large wet bar with a blender for preparing margueritas make entertaining easy. An 8.0 Kw diesel generator provides plenty of power away from the dock. A 16,000 BTU reverse cycle AC/Heat unit as well as heat exchangers working off the engines keep the boat comfortable in any weather. On deck, the cockpit is large enough for a couple of deck chairs with plenty of seating space on the large flybridge. The bridge has been recently upholstered in its original detail. There is a full bridge enclosure and a sloping aft deck cover. She also has a rail mounted BBQ and custom dinghy davits mounted on the swim platform. Powered by twin Hino 175-hp diesel engines, the Bayliner 3818 cruises very economically at 14-16 knots burning less than 1 gallon per mile. This would be a fantastic choice for a couple and occasional guests to do the Great Loop, where many of these Bayliners have been seen cruising. This particular boat has been very well maintained by her current owners, one of whom is a certified diesel mechanic. You will not find a more attractive or well-kept diesel motor yacht for this price. |
